The last section is reserved for certain interactions with the computer companion and a few tests that can be performed to determine the correct functioning status of the program.
In the first column, you can restart and stop the UAV 4G Tool, view information about the local network, and at the same time, change the default password: 12345abcde of the Access Point to the one you want. It is highly recommended to do this for security purposes.
In the second column, you can perform a bandwidth test on the 4G modem’s internet, so you can find out details about the quality of the connection. At the same time, you can run a ping to www.google.com to determine your latency and if you are connected to the internet or not. It is recommended to perform this test after completing the steps in the MODEM section, so you can verify if the connection was successful.
Furthermore, you have the possibility to test the Mavlink connection and obtain additional information about its activity. All these test results are displayed in the console on the right-hand side.
IMPORTANT: When using Mission Planner or QGroundControl, don’t forget to add an exception to your firewall for these programs!!!
